Antigua and Barbuda
Antigua and Barbuda, located in the Caribbean region, is an island country and it consists of 2 islands. It is a member of the World Trade Organization and CARICOM. It is also a member of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU). Vegetables are cultivated, including beans, carrots, cabbage, cucumbers, plantains, squash, tomatoes and yams, on small family farms for local markets. Some of the mineral resources of the islands are limestone, building stone, clay and barite. Main industries of the country are tourism, construction and light manufacturing (clothing, household appliances). |
